Head-Fier
Pros: Pros: Comfortable fit delivering tight/controlled bass without relying on EQ or excessive tip rolling
Cons: Can be fatiguing at times, and not ideal for portable/wireless DAC listening
TL;DR: the Scarlet Mini is a must-try IEM for anyone that enjoys bass, but its full potential may be contingent on the source(s) it is paired with

New Head-Fier

- With the right tips, the treble is quite smooth, and has a good body and extension
- The housing is comfortable and light
- Immense technical performance
- Can be analytical or musical depends on the tips
- Nice stock cable
- The timbre is quite natural
Cons: - Quite power demanding for a good source
- Tips sensitive type. Once it pairs with the wrong tips, its treble will sound harsh, peaky, and grainy

"these IEMs require powerful sources. When paired with the right equipment, the Quattro can deliver an outstanding audio performance. For example, when I change the source of DAC from RU6 to Fiio Q5"

That is not a matter of going from a weak power output to a higher one. But the difference of going from a warm soft mushy r-2r source to an overly incisive D/S dac.

Quattro needs that leading edge incisiveness help of a D/s dac like the akm in your Fiio Q5. Fiio Q7 with its ESS dac also does this as well.

100+ Head-Fier
Pros: • Neutral ish tonality
• Punchy but still north of neutral bass.
• Good bass texture.
• Vibrant, open and transparent midrange.
• Forward and energetic female vocal, while not too shouty
• Airy yet smooth and well articulated treble
• Quite decent sound stage and imaging
• Great cable (like seriously, i really like this cable)
• Comfy shells
• Gorgeous colorway
• Generous accessories
Cons: • Not for basshead
• Not the most warm, luscious timbre
• Not thin, but could use more note weight
• Ramping up the volume may make the pinna region sound piercing.

1000+ Head-Fier
Pros: Clear, evident, direct, punchy, energetic, pure, concise and powerful sound, while maintaining a neutral-warm profile.
- Good level of accessories, including a USB Type-C to Lightning adapter.
- Stylish design available in a choice of two colours.
- 6 digital filters.
- RGB LED.
- 2 buttons for volume control (50 steps) and one for playback control.
- Very low output impedance.
- Good power level for low to midrange impedances.
Cons: It does not give full voltage at 100 Ohms.
- Voltage jumps in the last volume steps are large.
- Fade-In.
- Perhaps the central knob is a bit excessive in size and prominence.

Pros: Depth to vocals, soundstage, imaging, accurate bass (no bleed into mid-range), good at details, treble sparkles but not bright or sibilant
Cons: Highlights bad recordings or those that have been (heavily) compressed, but that is expected of the tuning.

Cons: Needs a dedicated tube amp to unveil its super powers
I own a pair of AKG K701 now since 2007.

New Head-Fier
Pros: Exceptional unboxing experience with high-quality accessories.
Distinctive and stylish design.
Comfortable ergonomics for extended listening sessions.
Balanced, natural, and uncolored sound signature.
Good technical performance, especially layering and soundstage.
Well-separated vocals and instruments.
Amazing value for $75.99.
Cons: Sub-bass could benefit from a slight rise for added depth.
Treble rolls off too early.
Mid-centric tonality may not appeal to those seeking pronounced sub-bass or treble extension.
The cable could have been thicker.
There is no balanced option.
