This was UB40’s first album in 7 years. Great album focusing back to political issues like their original albums in the 80’s, got nominated for a Grammy.
Fostex TH-909’s for the awesome bass getting fed from the Liquid Platinum w/Amperex tubes.

Nostalgia made me go through some of the albums from my teenage years, and as soon as I saw this one, I had to give it a listen. Heard this one hundreds of times, and it was one of the main albums to broaden my musical horizon, that up until then, was mostly about 90's Euro dance and a bit of rock 😁
High Roller was my favorite track well into my 20's 🤘
This being so different really made me aware what music had to offer, and made me start exploring a lot more. Today I listen to almost any kind of music. :)

The Crystal Method - Vegas
Starten in the HD600's, but this album is much better with the larger soundstage and sub bass extension, that the HE1000 offers, so:

Complete change of gears, compared to this morning.
Fantastic album, and tracks like 900 Miles, St. James infirmary and No More Songs are just amazing 🤩

Started out on the HD600's but quickly switched to my Tanchjim Origin, as the noise from heavy rain outside was bleeding to much into the music in all the quiet passages, so more isolation was needed.

I love the dynamic range in most classical recordings. It feels good to really crank my amp and know I'm getting all them bits worth of signal to noise. The quiet morning hours, when the world is still and the family and neighbours and commuters are still sleeping, it feels almost sacred to me... Today, I listen to Britten's Spring Symphony along with a chorus of gentle rain on the leaves outside. It's about as close to church as my Sunday gets :)
